Dunpar Homes employees and company president John Zanini believe strongly in giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season. That’s why Dunpar and the John Zanini Foundation were delighted to team up with new Lake Shore Village resident Joshua Fick to help brighten the holidays for Toronto area children in need.
Joshua’s wife Kelly Marie Atyeo passed away in 2019 due to illness. Kelly Marie loved to help create happy memories for youngsters at this time of year and as a tribute to her generous spirit, Joshua wanted to continue that tradition. Dunpar Homes helped Joshua achieve his goal by participating in the Second Annual Kelly Marie Atyeo Memorial Holiday Toy Drive.
Boxes to receive donations of new, unwrapped toys were placed in Dunpar’s head office, at Kingsway Village Square Luxury Rentals and at the Lake Shore Village Model Suite. Thanks to the homeowners, staff and visitors, who made donations and the toy drive a success! Dunpar presented all the toys collected to the Salvation Army on Saturday November 28 for its Toy Mountain campaign that provides help to GTA families struggling to make ends meet.
Thank you Joshua for allowing us at Dunpar and the John Zanini Foundation to help honour your late wife’s memory in such an inspiring way!
