Introducing John Zanini, President of Dunpar
The founder of Dunpar Homes began his journey renovating older homes, drawn to the craftsmanship and care that went into these regal, stately properties. Inspired by the meticulous techniques of master builders from the past, he immersed himself in learning these high-end methods, even running his own millwork shop to understand the fits and finishes intimately.
Determined to build homes with the same strong character and lasting quality, his first projects were in Toronto’s historic Cabbagetown, near Dundas and Parliament streets. Combining these two street names, “Dunpar” was born—a company dedicated to crafting beautifully finished homes that would make yesterday’s master craftsmen proud.

Company Culture
The John Zanini Foundation was established to assist at risk youths within the Community of Etobicoke.
Its mission is to help young people build healthy, successful, and empowered lives. This initiative is a cause close to John Zanini’s heart and reflects his deep personal commitment.
The John Zanini Foundation has been a longtime supporter of the PACT Program, an organization that works to strengthen community wellness by supporting and empowering youths, families, and seniors within inclusive and accessible environments. PACT works to develop community programming, food security initiatives, youth mentorship programs, and experiential learning opportunities with the goal of creating thriving communities that are both inclusive and accessible.
Youth focused programs are especially important initiatives for the John Zanini Foundation. PACT offers a variety of programs for youths aged 13-21 to explore their passions, develop important life skills, connect with like-minded individuals, and learn how to gain meaningful employment. PACT programs also give young people the opportunity to earn volunteer hours and teach the importance of giving back to the community.
Over the years, John Zanini has helped transform the community by developing thoughtfully designed, high-quality townhome communities. As President of Dunpar Homes, John Zanini both lives and works in Etobicoke.
