KMA Holiday Toy Drive for Toy Mountain – Great Success for 2022

Dec 19, 2022

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL TOY DRIVE!

This year, The John Zanini Foundation once again lent its assistance to the KMA Holiday Toy Drive.  It was the fourth year for the KMA Holiday Toy Drive in support of the Salvation Army’s Toy Mountain and the third year in a row, the Foundation has supported the initiative by collecting donations of new unwrapped toys, gift cards and personal care items in their Etobicoke office as well as at Kingsway Village Square.

The response was overwhelming with the Etobicoke community and the Dunpar family gathering more items this year that ever before.  All donated toys will go to The Salvation Army’s Toy Mountain and all financial donations are going to Tuberous Sclerosis Canada in support of Hailey who was born with this genetic disorder causing non-malignant tumors to form in many different organs of her body. Including her brain.

John Zanini Foundation became involved in association with Joshua Fick, a resident of Dunpar’s Lake Shore Village.  Joshua’s wife Kelly Marie Atyeo, who passed away in 2019 due to illness, loved to help create happy memories for youngsters at this time of year and as a tribute, Joshua wanted to continue her tradition with a toy drive named for her.

The Toy Mountain campaign provides help to GTA families struggling to make ends meet and to help make dreams come true for the growing number of children in need.

The John Zanini Foundation thanks all those who were kind enough to support this important initiative.
