Ten graduating students from Lakeshore Collegiate Institute had more than their commencement to celebrate this month.
Each of them was a recipient of a $2,500 scholarship from the John Zanini Foundation.
The scholarship program was created to assist the students with continuing on to post-secondary studies.
John Zanini, president of Dunpar Homes, welcomed the opportunity to meet the students at the school’s commencement ceremony and to congratulate them on their accomplishments.
The John Zanini Foundation was established to assist at-risk youth and encourage them to continue onto post-secondary education.
