Sandy Couto of South Etobicoke was ready for a move and was chatting with some friends who had just bought a new townhome at Lakeshore Village, a luxury townhome development that was under construction. Not knowing exactly what she was looking for, the positive comments from her friends about their buying experience influenced her to check out this new project.
“I have purchased two different homes in the past, but this was the first time that I was looking at a pre-construction home,” said Couto. “Lakeshore Village is right in my neighbourhood which I love, so I met with Cynthia from Dunpar Homes, the builder, to learn a bit more about the project.”
Seeing the floorplan of the home, Sandy knew it was a design that would suit her lifestyle. The location was perfect for the three bedroom, two and one half bathroom home, close to Lake Ontario, restaurants and the QEW and it would be an easy drive to her job at a Porche dealership in Oakville where she works in the finance department.
“The roof top terrace is one of my favourite features in the home. I can’t wait to sit out there on a warm summer evening with friends. I was also really impressed with the high quality finishes throughout the house,” adds Couto. “ The homes are beautifully finished. Best of all, Cynthia made the job of buying a new home so much easier with a down payment of just 10%.”
Next year, Sandy will be moving into her new home and can’t wait. “The entire buying experience was just terrific. I don’t know why it took me so long to try buying a pre-construction home.”
